Return & Right of Withdrawal Policy

At Tartaruga-world.shop, we aim to ensure customer satisfaction. In accordance with EU consumer protection legislation, customers have the right to withdraw from distance purchases under the terms set out below.

1. Right of Withdrawal

Pursuant to Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. email).

2. Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of standard delivery (excluding supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us).

Reimbursement will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed about your decision to withdraw.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

Reimbursement will be carried out using the same means of payment as used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

3. Return of Goods

You shall send back the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal.

The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

4. Exemptions from the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised

  • Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if unsealed after delivery

  • Goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly

  • Digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgment that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal
